Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Days
Held twice a year in the spring and fall, this event gives residents an opportunity to properly dispose of such unwanted material as pesticides, herbicides, bleach, car and household batteries, gasoline, pool and photographic chemicals and other items.
In the past these drop-offs have been held at the Poly-Western High School parking lot, located at Falls Road and Cold Spring Lane.
The dates of the drop-off days are announced by the Department of Public Works prior to the date.
Proof of City residency is required to drop off material.
For additional information or to find out about disposal of your household hazardous material, please contact the Public Works’ Office of Recycling at 410-396-5916.
